Draft. This is written out properly and it says what we actually do — but a lawyer hasn't read it yet. It'll be reviewed before Nibbo opens to everyone, and anything that changes, we'll say so here.

The short version

Nibbo remembers what you tell it, because an assistant that forgets you is useless. You can see all of it, change any of it, and delete every last piece of it whenever you feel like it. We don't sell it. We don't run ads. You have to be 13.

The rest of this page is that, in more detail.

What Nibbo remembers

Your messages, and the things worth keeping out of them. If you mention your coach's name, that you have a bio quiz Thursday, or that you told someone you'd send something by Friday, Nibbo writes that down.

That's the entire product. A nib can't remind you about the thing you said you'd do unless it remembers you saying it. So the memory isn't a side effect of using Nibbo — it's the reason it works.

It doesn't read your other apps. It only knows what you say to it, plus anything you deliberately connect later.

Seeing what it knows

There's a tab called lore. Everything Nibbo has remembered about you is in there, in plain sentences, and you can read the whole list any time. Nothing is hidden behind a data request or a form.

If something in there is wrong, or you just don't want Nibbo knowing it, you can delete that one thing and it's gone. You don't have to explain why.

Who else sees your messages

Nibbo is built on Claude, an AI model made by a company called Anthropic. When you text Nibbo, your message goes to Anthropic's API — their service — so Claude can write the reply, and it comes back to you. That round trip is how every reply happens.

Under the terms we're on, Anthropic doesn't use your conversations to train their models. They hold them briefly to run the request and to catch abuse, then drop them.

A few other companies handle the plumbing: the messaging provider that carries the texts themselves, Vercel which hosts the site, Supabase which stores your account and your memory, and Resend which sends account emails. That's the whole list. Nobody on it gets your data to use for their own purposes.

Nothing is sold. Nothing goes to advertisers. There are no ads in Nibbo and there aren't going to be.

How long it's kept

Your memory — the lore — sticks around as long as your account does. That's the point of it.

The raw back-and-forth of your conversation is kept for 30 days, so Nibbo has recent context and so we can figure out what went wrong if something breaks. After 30 days the raw messages are deleted. What survives is whatever made it into your lore, where you can see it and delete it yourself.

Deleting all of it

In settings there's a delete account button. Press it and your account, your lore, your message history and your nibs are deleted for good. Not hidden, not deactivated — deleted. It can't be undone and we can't get it back for you.

Backups take up to 30 more days to age out, then it's gone from those too. Your email is not kept — not even to remember that you were here. The invite code you used stays marked as spent so it can't be handed out again, but nothing links it back to you.

You have to be 13

Nibbo is for people 13 and over. That's not us being precious — the privacy laws that cover under-13s in the US require a whole consent system we haven't built.

If we find out an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it and everything in it. If you're a parent and you think that's happened, email the address at the bottom and we'll sort it out.

What this website collects

The site you're reading right now is separate from the assistant. If you fill in the invite form, two things are stored: your email address, and — if you choose to answer it — your response to the question about what you keep meaning to do. Your answer is stored exactly as you typed it.

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking of any kind. If you don't fill in the form, this site keeps nothing about you at all.

One honest note

The invite form asks what you keep meaning to do, and people give real answers. Those are stored as plain text next to your email. I read them — that's the point of asking — but nobody else does.

If this page changes

The date at the top changes with it. If we ever change something that actually matters — what's kept, who sees it, how long — you get an email about it, not a quiet edit.
